Tickets on sale for "Maid to Order"
Here’s a farce at its funny and frenetic best! A wealthy widow, Marcy Malliger, is expecting her beau for dinner, which means she expects nothing less than perfection from her household staff. Her disgusting son Gerald, who is 25 years old but still lives with his “mommy,” is attempting to put the moves on the maids, as usual.
Sarah, a recently hired maid, does her best to ignore his overtures so as not to lose her job. That’s when her brother James shows up, looking for a place to hide. He’s on the run from a loan shark who wants his money back, and certainly the mobster wouldn’t think to look for him at a mansion. But wouldn’t you know, Ms. Malliger’s beau who comes for dinner is the loan shark?!
Bring in the cops, who think James is Gerald (and vice versa!), and the loan shark’s dim-witted daughter, who instantly falls head-over-heels for Gerald, and you’ve got all the ingredients for fantastic farce in just one hour! Mistaken identities galore, a fast paced plot that picks up more speed as it goes and an extended chase scene involving well...just about everyone, will instantly make this fresh farce a favorite for cast, crew and audience alike!
Performances will be December 12-14 (8 PM), and December 15 (2 PM) and directed by Lucero Acosta. All seats $10. Click here for tickets!

Audition Notice! Arsenic & Old Lace

by: Joseph Kesselring
Directed by: Laura Brewster
Mortimer Brewster is living a happy life: he has a steady job at a prominent New York newspaper, he’s just become engaged, and he gets to visit his sweet spinster aunts to announce the engagement. Mortimer always knew that his family had a bit of a mad gene -- his brother believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt and his great-grandfather used to scalp Indians for pleasure -- but his world is turned upside down when he realizes that his dear aunts have been poisoning lonely old men for years! When Mortimer’s maniacal brother, Jonathan. (who strangely now resembles Boris Karloff) returns on the night that the aunts were planning to bury the newest victim, Mortimer must rally to help his aunts and protect his fiancĂ© -- all while trying to keep his own sanity. as well. An uproarious farce on plays involving murder, Arsenic and Old Lace has become a favorite amongst regional theatres throughout America.
Audition Dates are December 16 & 17th at 7pm located at the Playhouse.
Casting is for 3w/11m

Tickets now on sale for "Sister Act The Musical"
Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet! Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.
Show dates are May 31, June 1-2 and 7-9. Tickets are all $15.00. You can purchase them at the door, or online here:

Tickets are on sale for "Barefoot in the Park"
Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He’s a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she’s a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Their new apartment is her most recent find – too expensive with bad plumbing and in need of a paint job. After a six-day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic, Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does. Paul just doesn’t understand Corie, as she sees it. He’s too staid, too boring, and she just wants him to be a little more spontaneous. Running “barefoot in the park” would be a start…
"Barefoot in the Park" is directed by Laura Brewster, and stars Miles Wiseman, Destiny Windham, Sarah Hester, Ken Harkness, Marcus Sparenberg, and Eric Taylor.
Performance dates are April 5, 6, 12, and 13 (8 PM) and April 14 (2 PM). All tickets $10. Click here to purchase tickets.

Tickets are now on sale for "Character Lines"!
"Character Lines" tells the story of Kit and Linda, who had shared a life together as they struggled for recognition as writers. Now, seven years later, Linda, who has become a successful novelist, is on a book promotion tour, and visits Kit in the small Tennessee town to which he has retreated. Their meeting is awkward at first—she radiates the savvy and energy of success in a high-powered world, while he has adjusted to the unchallenging routine of small-town life. But, as they begin to confide in each other, it becomes apparent that Linda, for all her acclaim and financial success, has not found the fulfillment she seeks, while Kit, who is still writing and carrying on a satisfying affair with his landlady's daughter, has come to terms with his hopes and dreams.
"Character Lines" is directed by Marirene Pankratz. Show dates are February 15-16 and February 22-24, 2019.
You can get your tickets by clicking here, or at the Playhouse on performance dates.
