Gala reminder, and get your "Fiddler" tickets online!

Greetings all!

GALA: This is reminder the annual Community Players of Hobbs awards gala is this Friday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. at the Western Heritage Museum. The event is free. Come socialize and eat some finger foods and then join us in handing out some awards and thank you's. The 2011 season would not and could not happen without you and all the volunteers. We don't have enough awards or time to thank everyone but know if you participated in 2011, you helped make the season a great success.

Also, a new board will be voted on by you — the members — so your attendance is very important.

If you have not done so already, give us a heads up that you will be coming by emailing communityplayersofhobbs@gmail.com or by clicking the attendance calendar on Facebook.

ONLINE TICKET SALES: Online ticketing has begun! This is a big step for the Playhouse. Go to www.communityplayersofhobbs.com and click on the link on the left hand column. Follow the promps and you can purchase your ticket for "Fiddler on the Roof" today! You can even reserve your exact seat! (Don't forget to print out your reservation sheet at the end)

Let us know how this works for you. We are still working out some kinks, such as how to get our corporate sponsors their tickets and reservations, etc.

Contact myself or Robert Schumacher if you have questions or concerns. Robert has done the heavy lifting on this so super thanks to Robert and the IT Committee team for their work. [Thank you, Daniel! - Webmaster (and IT Committee)]

Your president,

Daniel Russell
