"Fiddler on the Roof" auditions!

UPDATE:  Additional audition scheduled, Sunday, December 11th at the Playhouse at 7 PM. This is to give an audition opportunity for those with commitments earlier on Sunday. This audition will consist of singing and cold reads. Audition notes at the website and below apply for this audition as well.

Auditions for the Playhouse production of "Fiddler on the Roof" will be held on Sunday, December 11th from 1 pm to 4 pm at Macioleck School of Dance AND Monday, December 12th from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Playhouse.

Sunday's audition will consist of dancing and singing, and Monday will consist of singing and cold reads.

"Fiddler on the Roof" will be performed in late February 2012, with full rehearsals starting in early January 2012.

The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters—each one's choice of husband moves further away from the customs of his faith—and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.

The show has a large cast...further information on cast breakdown, singing ranges, and audition information can be found by clicking here.
We will also need a fairly large crew to run the show, so please come to auditions even if you are not interested in performing.

See you at auditions!
