Two more chances to catch "Charlie Brown", an added show this season, and a change to the season

You have two more chances to catch "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown". This very family-friendly musical features the classic cast of "Peanuts", and is good fun for the whole family. Shows are Friday, 2/18 at 8 PM and Saturday, 2/19 at 8 PM. "Charlie Brown" is directed by Mary Lyle and stars Juston Harlin, Josh Berner, Erin Anderson, Leigh Melton, Ronnie Gray, Sarah Bunch, and Tyler Bunch. Come on out and bring the kids!

And...coming up after "Charlie Brown", the Playhouse will feature three performances of Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story". This one-act show is the Playhouse's entry in the 2011 Theater New Mexico AACTFest, the state level competition for the national AACT theater contest. Directed by Nathan R. Miles, the show stars Nick Keele as "Jerry" and Robert Schumacher as "Peter". In conjunction with the performance, Playhouse veterans Briana Schneider and Brad Jett will deliver monologues (also a part of the competition). Shows are March 3rd, 4th, and 5th at 8 PM, and proceeds will go toward costs associated with the company's entry in the festival.

Finally, note a change to the season; Bill Raabe will direct "Homefront", which shows September 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th. This show is taking the spot of "Hound of the Baskervilles", but will show on the same dates.

See you at the shows!
