Your periodic update from Daniel

Greetings everyone!

Another month gone by and lots going on in the coming few days.

AUDITIONS: Auditions for the musical "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" are at 6-8 p.m. this Sunday and Monday at Western Heritage Museum. The show is directed by Juston and Larry Harlin. Show dates are June 4-6 and June 11-13. Roles are available for three women and three men. Be prepared to sing for the audition (prepare a short song).

BOARD of DIRECTORS meeting: The Playhouse BOD will meet at 6 p.m. TUESDAY, March 30, at the Playhouse. (Note this is different than our normal Monday time) As always, anyone is welcome to attend the BOD meeting.

SHOW DATES: "Curious Savage", directed by Mary Jo Chadwick has changed shows dates a little bit.
Show dates are now Friday, April 16, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m. (no Saturday performance the first weekend) and then Thursday-Saturday, April 22-25 at 8 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Reservations — 393-0676.

OTHER SHOW: Playhouse veteran Summer Robinson is directing the musical "Bye Bye Birdie" at Hobbs High School at 7 p.m. April 9-10 and 2 p.m. April 10-11.

CORPORATE SPONSORS: Our annual fundraising campaign went well. Check out the new Playbill at the next show to see who are returning corporate sponsors and see a few new one's. One example, Higginbotham-Bartlett has joined us as a corporate sponsor so please try to shop their for you Playhouse production supplies. Thanks to all our corporate sponsors and those who purchased ads in the program. Without this financial support, community theater could not exist and function. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

BACK LOT: Have you noticed the back lot of the Playhouse recently? It looks really, really different. Take a look when you get to chance. Next, we need to work on getting it covered so it useful for parking, etc? Anyone have any ideas? Let myself or Tony Bostick know!
