A note from Daniel on the gala

Greetings Playhouse general members:

This is reminder about the Annual Gala, which is this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Western Heritage Museum.

How much to attend: Nothing, it is FREE.

Why should you attend:
1) To meet and greet old friends.
2) To applaud award winners, especially our Tom Mason Award winner, the highest honor from the Playhouse to an outstanding, deserving nominee.
3) To hear who the scholarship winners are
4) To honor the Unsung Heros of each show

What else will happen:
1) Voting to approve/disapprove of the new board of directions for the 2010 season by the general membership
2) Voting for/against a Playhouse bylaw change by the general membership

Who is considered a general member: By attending the Gala, by being involved in a theater production or by attending theater productions, you are considered a general member.

While there is no cost or tickets required to attend, we are asking that you give us a heads up on coming so we may prepare enough hors d'oeuvres for the event. Please email me back with how many in your party or call Kim at Kim's Kakes at 397-7665.

And while there is no cost to attend, we are selling raffle tickets to win a 19" flat screen TV, an iPod shuffle and a digital camera. Proceeds go toward the Carl H. Busch Scholarship fund. Raffle tickets are $2 each.

Your president,

Daniel Russell

You can also email the playhouse email address to RSVP (see the link at the right).

See you all at the party!
