Meet the cast and crew of "Rabbit Hole"

Heather Walker (Becca Corbett)—Heather was last seen in the NMJC production of A Doll’s House. While at the JC, she was also an Irene Ryan Nominee for her work in Angel Street, performed in the outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and was also the recipient of the Outstanding Student Award for Theatre. This is her first performance at the Playhouse and she enjoys spending time with her son, Noadiah.

Evan Witkowski (Howie Corbett)—Evan is the last theatre major to graduate from the University of the Southwest and has been a mainstay at the Community Playhouse for the past several years, appearing in everything from The Odd Couple (for which he won an Outstanding Bit Part) to The Trip to Bountiful and The Lincolns. He has also performed in The American Dame, a part that won him the Playhouse Award for Best Actor that year. While at the USW he performed in Harvey and The Crucible, as well as performing at the JC in The Murder Room. He continues to act and write music.

Jenna Arther (Izzy)—Jenna’s many stage credits include A Doll’s House, Hobbs Goblin, The Fourth Wall, The Frog Prince and The Lion in Winter, all done at NMJC. She has also studied at Chapman University in Orange, California where she appeared in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This is Jenna’s first appearance at the Playhouse since she made her debut in The Wizard of Oz.

Karen Widman (Nat)—Karen has performed in roles both onstage and offstage. Among her stage credits she has appeared in NMJC’s Playhouse Creatures and The Lion in Winter. She has also served as Assistant Director on The Murder Room and The Wind in the Willows.

Nick Keele (Jason Willette)—Nick previously appeared in last fall’s The Murder Room at NMJC and served as production assistant on The Lion in Winter. He also appeared in the Playhouse’s production of A Company of Wayward Saints.

Crew Bios
Nathan R. Miles (Director)—Nathan made his directing debut at West Texas A&M University with The Cowboy, the Indian and the Fervent Feminist. Since then he has gone on to direct The Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk, Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective and Proof. As an actor he has appeared in Luv, The Marriage of Bette and Boo, The Cocktail Hour, Tape, Julius Caesar, Minnesota Moon, Talley’s Folly and The Madness of George III, for which he won the Omega Award for Outstanding Featured Performer. He also served as President of Alpha Psi Omega, the student theatre fraternity at WT.

Tony Bostick (Asst. Director)—Tony has been active at the Playhouse since his debut in The Exact Center of the Universe two years ago. Since then he has been involved in Mischief in the Magnolias, Shakespeare Through the Looking Glass, The Night of January the 16th and The Rock. He also serves as a member of the board of directors.

R. Barrett Evans (Scenic Designer)—Barrett is a Musical Theatre major at WTAMU in Canyon, Texas and is expecting to graduate in May with his BA. For five summers he has been involved with TEXAS!, the outdoor musical drama that is performed in Palo Duro Canyon. He served as the Lighting Designer on The Cowboy, The Indian and the Fervent Feminist, The Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk, Proof as well as doubling as Scenic Designer on Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective. Among his many accomplishments, he won the USITT Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for his work on Proof. Counting their onstage performances as well offstage, this is Nathan’s and his eighth collaboration.

Amanda Crowe (Musical Composer)—Amanda lives in Las Cruces, NM where she attends New Mexico State University and studies photojournalism. She composes music for both piano and guitar and enjoys photography. Through her missionary work she has travelled to the Philippines, Taiwan and East Asia. She hopes to continue traveling and to take pictures for a missionary organization.

Briana Schneider (Stage Manager)—Briana has appeared in the Playhouse productions of Grease and A Company of Wayward Saints, as well as appearing on the NMJC stage in The Murder Room. She has served as Assistant Director at the JC for The Lion in Winter and will next be featured in Annie. Briana was also the recipient of Outstanding Female Performance in a Bit Part and Outstanding Soloist at Hobbs High.
